The over 200 years old, protected memorial building fits perfectly into Hamburgs shiny suburbs surrounding the „Elbe“ and is today used as a hotel and restaurant.
Our assignment in the hotel and restaurant „Chalet Flottbek“ consisted in the implementation of jointless floors in the bathrooms of five hotel rooms of the Chalet and the complete paintwork as well as design in the restaurant Hygge.
In the restaurant area we first took of the old wallpaper and „pre-worked“ the walls and ceilings, which includes priming, grinding and bringing on the first coats of paint. Also, we pre-worked the windows and stock doors and primed and varnished them.
After that we carried on with the extensive design works in the restaurant area which included the implementation of the jointless floor in the counter area and the bathrooms as well as the priming of the counter with brazen primer and the shaping of the walls with limestone-marble primer, which underlines the historical character of the building.
The sophisticated vintage look of the Chalet runs – together with modern elements – through the lobby to the the brewery up to the hotel rooms. The warm shine of the lighting ambience floods the premises and sets our surfaces optimal in scene.
