Project: Stadtvilla

the diversity of used materials in the Alstervilla connects modern with rustic aesthetics. Concrete is found in multiple areas, which looks modern but still has a distinct rustic flair.

The temporary presentation as the „Google-House“ was delightful for us: For this we had to go with more color. The colors of the Google logo were carefully blended with the modern-classic-rustic style of the Alstervilla and were presented alongside the newest product innovations of the corporation.

The facade of the villa was remade from the ground up. For that the old paint coats were washed down to the plaster and all surfaces were plastered with fabric inserts. The stucco was also carefully redone. The painting on the outside was done via a mineral design plan.

The inside of the building was also remade by us. The wall surfaces in the living quarters as well as in the bathrooms were plastered and designed with natural stone plaster, limestone and encausto. The scale plated railing base pieces, the fine ceiling and stucco further expand on the connection of classic and modern style. The bronze design of the elevator doors represents the high class of the building and the usage of zinc plated furnishings perfects the blend of styles.
